[00:00:00] Speaker A: Good evening. What the word says family. Happy Monday, happy new week, and welcome to our hour of power right here and teach us how to pray. You know, we're so grateful to the Lord for this amazing platform, a platform of prayer where we primarily get to fellowship and commune with the father, with the spirit, and with the word. It is also our platform where we get to exercise our authority as believers using the name of Jesus Christ. And of course, this is the place where we build our spirits real, real strong. So a warm welcome to you from wherever you are joining us in the world tonight. And of course, you know, we love hearing from you. We love hearing your testimonies. We love receiving your prayer requests as we do join our faith with yours, even outside of this prayer platform, to ensure that, you know, God answers your prayers and that you are helped at the point of your need. Now, tonight, I don't want to take up too much time because we are praying about families and households. Yes, we are back with this family prayer point last week. Monday we went into it, and I, you know, I could see that it was a very, very important prayer point because we even had, you know, so much resistance online. We had some technical challenges, some gremlins in the system. So tonight we're going to take some time to pray about our families and households again. You know, we can never pray about these things enough. You know, if God has raised you up to be an intercessor, to be a watchman in your family, you know, this is something that you have got to take very, very seriously. If you don't pray, the changes won't happen. If you don't pray, you know, who knows? There's an inheritance, there's an identity that your family needs to step into. And all that it is waiting on is for an intercessor, is for somebody to step in and pray, for somebody to stand in the gap and to pray.

[00:01:51] Speaker A: So tonight we're praying about families and households again. And I don't want to take up too much time. I want us to jump straight into prayer tonight. But before we do that, I'm just going to be reading out a scripture just so that we could understand a little bit about, you know, the times that we in. And I've been inspired in this direction. This is Isaiah 60, verse two. It obviously starts off with verse one, you know, very pretty, very nice. Arise, shine, for thy light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Then it goes, for, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people. But the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
[00:02:29] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:02:30] Speaker A: May the glory of the Lord be seen upon you. May the glory of the Lord be seen in and through you. May the glory of the Lord be seen in your family, even in times of gross darkness, in times of calamity, in times of turmoil. May the glory of the Lord be seen in and through you and your family. And, you know, that's what we're going to be praying about tonight. You know, it's very important for us to understand the times and the seasons of where we are at as christians. This will, you know, allow us to be more alert in the spirit. This will also allow us to pray in the right direction. And we're living in a time of darkness. We're living in the last days. We are living in the prophecies of the word. We're literally walking through those prophecies that have, you know, come to life before our eyes. So it's very, very important for us to be alert, to consistently be standing in the gap and just to know where we are at in terms of the times and seasons. Right?
I think it's on the website on what the word says. One of the podcasts, my husband, speaks about spiritual wisdom and spiritual understanding, you know, and how it's very, very important that we even pray for these things through praying the prayers of the spirit so that we're not left behind during this time, so that we do not fall prey to the. To the schemes and the wiles of the enemy. We know, at the beginning of 2020, you know, we were introduced. We were just thrown into a pandemic. We were thrown into a whirlwind, and a lot of people were taken with that evil attack. That was an attack. That was an attack. It was an evil attack on the world. And many christians did not know they left from their right. Many christians were caught up in what Pastor Chris called at that time a debacle, a fiasco. A lot of christians were, you know, they fell for all of the evil tricks of the enemy during that time and what the government was doing to persecute the children of the earth, God's children. And so tonight, we're going to be praying and standing in the gap for our family members and even I for the church at large as a whole that, you know, as we are continuing in these days, these dark days, that we remain alert, that we remain protected, that we remain upon the platform of God's word. But before we get into those prayer points, of course, we're going to be starting off with our prayer of thanksgiving for tonight.
You know, we love to just spend our time just thanking the Lord. And our scripture is coming from psalms nine one in the Niv. It says, I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell of your wondrous deeds. We're going to spend time to give thanks to the lord for who he is and all his wondrous works. Father, we honor you tonight we worship you.
Thank you for this time of prayer.

Teach us how to pray, even for the privilege of prayer, the privilege of communion and fellowship with you, the privilege of the principles of the word, the rules of engagement in prayer. Thank you. You and we worship you. Thank you, Father. Even as we pray Tonight, we are making power available. We are changing things in the realm of the spirit. Oh, thank you, Father, that we are changed in the place of prayer, and our lives will never be the same again. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. Glory to God. Glory to God. If you've just joined us Tonight, this is teach us how to pray. And tonight, specifically, we are praying regarding our families and our households.

[00:09:26] Speaker A: You know, sometimes there are challenges. There are things that you're not happy about. If you don't pray, if you don't go to the realm of the spirit, if you don't go into the throne room of grace.
[00:09:37] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:09:38] Speaker A: The Bible says that we can come boldly into the throne room of grace in the book of hebRews, into the throne room of grace to obtain grace and mercy for a time of need.
[00:09:49] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:09:50] Speaker A: You know, it says, we come boldly into the throne room of grace to receive. To take a hold of grace.
[00:09:59] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:10:01] Speaker A: In the Greek, it is Lambano.
[00:10:03] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:10:04] Speaker A: So when it says receive, you know, it is not like, okay, I'm gonna wait till the grace is given to me or the mercy. No, Lambano. The correct translation day is to take a hold of. To take it.

[00:10:17] Speaker A: So when we come into the throne room of grace, we come to the father, we take the mercy. We take the grace.

[00:10:25] Speaker A: And we distribute it. We channel it towards our life and towards our family members. Praise the Lord. But if we don't go to the throne room of grace, if we don't pray, if we don't take advantage of all the privileges that has been given to us as children of God, unfortunately, we are not going to be beneficiaries of what has been given to us in Christ.

[00:10:47] Speaker A: So prayer is so important. So let's get into our prayer point for tonight. And first things first. We're going to be praying regarding protection for our family members. Protection for our family members. The prayer point reads as follows. We thank the father that during these dark times, whatever the world is getting ready to do next.

[00:11:06] Speaker A: That our family members are protected from the wind of evil.
There is a protective wall of fire. There is a protective hedge of fire around them.

[00:11:19] Speaker A: I'm reading to you from Zechariah. Two five in the Niv, it says. Then I myself, this is the Lord, will be a protective wall of fire around Jerusalem, says the lord. And I will be the glory inside the city. Then I will be a protective wall of fire.

[00:11:39] Speaker A: Tonight we're praying for our family that they are protected during these evil days. Oh, hallelujah.

[00:19:56] Speaker A: You know, two things that came to mind as I was praying. The first thing is, a lot of you are not putting your angels to work. You know, every child of God has got an angel. You have got an angel that is assigned to you. You have angels of your family, and those angels are waiting for you to give them instructions for you to dispatch them, for you to release them, for you to give them work to do.

[00:20:19] Speaker A: So as much as there's, you know, devils and demons in this world, there are angels and those angels that are with us.
[00:20:27] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:20:28] Speaker A: There are way more than, you know, the devils that are out there. So always, always be sure to dispatch your angels. Put them to work.
[00:20:38] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:20:39] Speaker A: The second thing that I wanted to say is, I think I heard Joyce Meyer speaking about this, that, you know, gratitude is a huge thing. And, you know, we started off our prayer session today with gratitude. And she said, you know, somebody had spoken to her and said, yeah, but I prayed.
[00:20:58] Speaker C: Why?
[00:20:59] Speaker A: If I prayed, was I in a car accident or something was taken from the person? I can't remember the scenario, but.
And then that person told Joyce that the Holy Spirit spoke and spoke to her and said, but the situation could have been far worse. So a lot of the times, you know, when we don't have gratitude, sometimes you're looking at the thing that went wrong in your life, like, okay, there's this bad thing that happened, but you're not actually looking at what you were saved from. You know, sometimes in certain situations, people were meant to die. People were meant to be taken out. The situation was meant to be a hundred times worse. But God protected you. God preserved your life. The angels helped you in that situation. So always practice gratitude. Don't say, oh, well, but I pray. And then why did this happen? No, you know, you can always practice gratitude. Your prayers are always working. When you pray, there are answers. It might not come or look the way you expect it to look, but God answers.

[00:21:57] Speaker A: Let's move to our next prayer point.
Okay, so we are praying. Oh, we've got a long scripture here.
We are praying regarding divine health amongst our family members. Divine health amongst our family members. You know, during the time of the pandemic, many people were taken aback by the propaganda, the news, the fear mongering of the media.
[00:22:24] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:22:25] Speaker A: But the word of God is true. The word of God will stand the test of time in any crisis, in any pandemic, in any situation. Because at the end of the day, you know, a lot of the time, there are these religious ideas that God is the one that sends the pestilence. He's the one that sends the diseases. He's the one that does all these painful things to people. But we know that there is an enemy.
[00:22:52] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:22:53] Speaker A: And whenever there's an enemy, we know that we as christians have received the tools and the weapons to stand against the enemy and even to defeat.
[00:23:01] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:23:04] Speaker A: So I'm reading to us from psalm 91, 311.
It says, surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
Pestilence. Like the pandemic, those diseases, those outbreaks. He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall take refuge.
His truth shall be your shield and your buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day. Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness. Darkness. Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. Listen to this. A thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and you shall see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the most high, your dwelling place.
No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling, for he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. This is what we've just prayed about. The angels of God having charge over us.
[00:24:17] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:24:18] Speaker A: Are we listening to this scripture? You know, when you read a psalm like psalm 91, you know, you get to a place where you're like, it's either I believe these things or I don't.
It's either I believe these things or I don't. Listen. No plague shall come near your dwelling. It doesn't matter the appearance. If it's an appearance of a plague or if it's the symptoms of the plague, it is not permitted to come near your dwelling. The only way it comes near your dwelling is if you give it the permission to come and take over your dwelling.
[00:24:54] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:24:55] Speaker A: So at the end of the day, we are charged up with these scriptures. We fill ourselves up with these scriptures. The word of God. You know, Pastor Chris always says, when you squeeze toothpaste, what must come out of the toothpaste? It's toothpaste. When life squeezes, you as a believer, as a Christian, what must come out of you is not fear, is not doubt. It's the word. The word. The word of God is living, and it is active. The word of God is God's solution to the problems of the world. The word of God is God. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The word is God. God and his word are one. God cannot lie.

[00:25:40] Speaker A: So it doesn't matter what you face, right? What the challenges are that are coming toward you, whether it's financial, whether it's physical. We're going to get into some healing scriptures a little bit later on, especially in our next prayer session, we're going to be dealing a little bit with healing. But the word of God is God's truth. And this scripture, ha, it's so amazing.
He says, you shall not be afraid of the terror by night, the news that wants to bring terror, that wants to inspire fear. You shall not be afraid, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that walks in the darkness. A thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and you will see the reward of the wicked.
No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your door. This is our declaration. It doesn't matter what the world is cooking up, what they are planning to throw on our doorstep. We are making our declaration. No evil shall befall us. No evil shall befall our family members.

[00:26:47] Speaker A: No plague shall come near our dwelling. And our prayer point tonight says, we pray for our family members. We pray for ourselves in accordance with the scripture, psalm 91. We declare that our homes and our dwelling places and our family members are preserved from plagues and pestilence.

But when that moment happens, you have to stand on God's word. Remember, the word of God is medicine to all of your flesh. Remember what the word of God has said concerning us. If the same spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead live in you, that same spirit will quicken. The King James says quicken, which is another way for saying, make alive. That same spirit will make alive your mortal body.

So your work, essentially, is to spend more time with the word of God, to spend time meditating on this truth, that when you feel a pain, you feel a symptom. You hear some news that can produce fear on the inside of you. You say, no, God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of a sound mind. No. The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. He lives in me every day. He vitalizes. He quickens my mortal body.

So in this last prayer point, we pray for our family members as well as the entire body of Christ, that they may discern the times we are living in, that many will be aware of the schemes and the tricks of the evil one and know how to operate in this last days.
First chronicles 1232 in KJV says, and of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.
Yeah, so I'll read it again. The children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do as children of God, we ought to have understanding of the times. We don't just go with what the government says. We don't just go with what people are saying, hey, there's this new product on the market. There's this vaccine, etcetera. No, we must be discerning of the times. What does God want us to know about the times that we're living in?
If you, Ephesians 118, that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints is.
So we're praying right now for our family members and even for the body of Christ at large, that we will be discerning, discerning of the times that we are living in, that we will be aware of the schemes and the tricks of the. Let's pray.

So you can go to hell, heaven one day and you can reconcile with him? Yes, that's a part of the package. But you also receive his life and nature, his DNA. It's a real thing.
And romans ten nine says that when you believe in your heart and you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, you shall be saved. What should you believe? You should believe that God became the man, that he humbled himself and he became a man. And he came to to this earth in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was the word that became flesh. He was born of a virgin. He lived a very miraculous life. He was a man of no sin. He was pure. And then this word that was made flesh, this God who humbled himself and came to us in the form of the Lord Jesus Christ, where he was Jesus Christ, before he got given the title of Lord, he died, he was buried, and he was raised to life by the Holy Spirit.
That is what you should believe. And when you believe that and you make a confession that he is the Lord, not only the Lord of your life, but he is Lord of all. The Bible says that you shall be saved. You shall become a child of God and receive his life and nature right then in that moment. So I'm going to pray for you right now that you can become a child of God and you can receive the life and nature of God. And then I'm also going to pray for you to receive the precious gift of the Holy Spirit and then to start speaking in other tongues. Okay? So throughout this prayer session we've been speaking in tongues. So I'm going to pray for you, that that happens for you. So if this is you tonight, I want you to repeat after me. Say, dear Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Your word says, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.
I ask Jesus to come into my heart and to be the Lord of my life.
From today, I am born again.
Because I believe that Jesus died and he was raised to life by the Father.
I receive eternal life into my spirit, into my soul and into my body.
