[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good evening and welcome to teach us how to pray. It is our hour of power. And listen, we are so, so excited to be praying. I believe that it is our 24th session of prayer right here on what the word says platform. Teach us how to pray. I'm so, so excited. Imagine that you joined us for prayer from the very first session right up until now. Your life has changed. You've been transformed, you've been metamorphosed. And sometimes, you know, when you're spending time in the place of prayer, that change can be seen. Just like Moses, you know, he spent so much time in the presence of God on Mount Sinai, when he came down, he had to cover his face.
[00:00:47] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:00:47] Speaker A: Because the glory of God was just radiating from him. And that is what prayer does for you. So a warm welcome to each and every one of you from wherever you are joining us from tonight. This is teach us how to pray. It's our platform of prayer. It's our place where we get to exercise, exercise our spirit, where we get to build ourselves up on our most holy faith. We make progress in the realm of the spirit, we speak words, we prophesy, we align things, we pray in the spirit, we pray with the spirit. We make changes in the place of prayer. We exercise our authority as believers using the name of Jesus. And most importantly, we get that all important time just to fellowship with the word of God in the place of prayer. And that is always such a beautiful thing for us, to be able to be given the word of God, to pray in accordance with the word of God, to live by the word of God. It is such an amazing thing. So, a warm welcome to each and every one of you. And tonight, I don't want to waste, you know, much time. Usually we do a little bit of an exhortation. Not that we're wasting time, but tonight I want to jump straight into prayer.

[00:01:54] Speaker A: So we're going to start off with our prayer of thanksgiving.
So the prayer point reads as follows. We glorify the name of the Lord because he's done great things in our lives. We offer a sacrifice of praise.
[00:02:10] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:02:11] Speaker A: Sometimes when you're doing your thanksgiving, when you're offering a sacrifice of praise, the word is sacrifice. You don't always feel like doing it. It's not always convenient. You might not think, you know, that you're in the mood or things are going your way in order for you to give this offering or this sacrifice of praise. But at the end of the day, we are offering our sacrifice of we're giving our worship to the one who is worthy. To the monarch of the universe, to the Lord of our lives, to the Lord Jesus Christ. And he is so worthy. And so I'm reading to you from Hebrews 1315 KJV. It says by him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually. That is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks unto his name.

We are moving from grace to grace, strength to strength, and victory to victory in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

[00:09:08] Speaker A: Glory to God. Listen, if you've just joined us, welcome to prayer, and of course, we love hearing from you. We absolutely love hearing from you. We love to receive your prayer request because we join our faith with your hallelujah. We join our faith with yours. And we know that you are receiving those desires of your heart, those prayer requests that you have sent through the Lord is answering them. The Lord is transforming you. The Lord is changing you.

[00:09:38] Speaker A: And as you come and you join us on this prayer altar, you're consistently being refreshed, you're consistently being strengthened.
[00:09:47] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:09:47] Speaker A: And tonight, specifically, we're praying about divine health, eternal life, and total wellness and total well being. Brothers and sisters, it is God's desire for you to be in health. It is God's desire for you to have eternal life. Already you have eternal life. If you're born again, if you received the Lord Jesus Christ, you have eternal life. That is what happened on the day that you believed with your heart and you made your confession with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lordezhe. You receive the life and nature of God on the inside of you, and the life and nature of God does not get sick. Now, what if you're saying, you know, then why do I have symptoms, etcetera, etcetera? Yeah. Well, at the end of the day, you've received this life and this nature in your spirit, and it is up to you to keep your body under. It is up to you to use the word of God to keep your body in health. The word of God has given us so many scriptures. You know, the Bible says that the word of God is medicine to all of your flesh.
But if the doctor tells you today that these are, you know, this is medication, this is medicine, you should take it, you know, two or three times a day. People, you know, they would rather trust the doctor's opinion about what they're saying. And we praise God for them because he's given them intelligence and ability. But imagine, the creator of the world has told us what to do concerning our body. There's so many instructions, right from the Old Testament to the New Testament. The creator of the human body has given us instructions.
He's told us to laugh because he says laughter, you know, is good, is good for your body. It's good like medicine. It's mar pay. It's a cure when you laugh. So when you're happy and you're not sad and you're not, you know, overcome or overwhelmed with too many, you know, cares of this world when you laugh, it's like medicine to your body.
When you take the word of God, when you relate with the word of God, you meditate with the word of God. It's like medicine. When you release things from your heart, you don't harbor guilt and pains and unforgiveness. The word of God is working, and it's flowing in your body because you are not, you know, accommodating anything of Satan in you. The Lord Jesus Christ said, you know, the prince of this earth cometh, but Satan has nothing in me.
No hatred, no malice, no shame, no pain.
So the word of God needs to occupy you fully. And at the end of the day, the word of God is so dependable. So tonight we're praying concerning our divine health and eternal life and total well being.

[00:12:35] Speaker A: If you don't claim, if you don't take a hold, if you don't, Lambano, these things that you see in the word of God, it's not going to work for you automatically just because you're a Christian, you know? So now you're like, okay, cool. I'm not going to be attacked with sickness. You can be attacked with sickness being a Christian. It can happen to you. It has happened to me. It has happened to many people. But it is what you do in that moment when that attack comes, what is your response?

[00:13:04] Speaker A: The word of God says that. Whose report shall you believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord, and that is the word of God. We are going to stand on his word concerning divine health, but the challenge is that. So for so many of us, we've grown up going to the doctors, going to the medicine man, receiving medication. So we are so used to. We've lived our whole life. We have trained our bodies to get used to medication, right? We haven't trained our bodies to receive everything that it needs from the word of God.
[00:13:39] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:13:40] Speaker A: You know, one day, Pastor Chris said, the reason many people are experiencing arthritis in the body, it's because they don't lift up their hands when they worship, when they praise God, they go to church and they just stand there and they're like, you know, why should I praise God? Why should I lift up my hands? Yet the word of God speaks about praising God with the lifting up of our hands. And you'll find that many people won't have certain diseases in certain parts of their bodies if they could just follow the instructions, you know, of the word of God. So tonight, that's what we're praying about. So we're going to thank the Lord that the eternal life of God is activated in our mortal bodies. No sickness, no disease germ, no infirmity, can successfully thrive in our body.
[00:14:28] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:14:29] Speaker A: So when the pain comes, the symptom comes, the discomfort comes. You have the legal right of a child. Of God, whose body has been purchased with the blood of Jesus Christ, to refuse that disease, germ, that symptom, that sickness, you can refuse it to thrive in your body. That sickness should not be able to have authority in your body.

[00:14:55] Speaker A: Romans eight two in the KJV says, for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Oh, hallelujah. I am free from the law of sin and death, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. You know, my husband has got a podcast teaching out right now. I thank God he heard my prayer, I think right here on teaches how to pray.
I had spoken about the seven miracles of righteousness, which was a teaching, that series of teachings that he shot in 2023. And so he put together one of the first miracles of righteousness. And it's available on podcast right now on the website, right? And it's called sinlessness. That's one of the first miracles of righteousness, and it deals with this scripture. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. The law of sin and death that came into act because of Adam.
And you know, that was the first time sin and death was now introduced into mankind, and all of the humans were under this law of sin and death.
[00:16:04] Speaker B: But hallelujah.
[00:16:06] Speaker A: Because of the Lord Jesus Christ, the second Adam, we are no longer under this law.
[00:16:10] Speaker B: Hallelujah.
[00:16:11] Speaker A: Because the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free. I am not subject to sickness, I'm not subject to death, to the depravities of this world. Whatever was introduced through the fall of man, that is no longer my issue, that is no longer my problem. And it has no legal right to attach itself to my life, to my body and to thrive in me. So as a child of God, you can't just allow life to happen to you and illegal operations to take place in your life. You have to say no, hallelujah. You have to use the word of God and you need to fight, you know, that's what it is all about, fighting the fight, the good fight of faith.

[00:16:58] Speaker A: And in that podcast, my husband speaks about, you know, sin, you know, what sin has done and everything that sin has introduced and why these devil of darkness and Satan and his cohorts, you know, tried to legally place things like poverty and sickness and division and whatever else on the children of God. It was all because of sin. But now we have been made free from the law of sin and death.

[00:17:28] Speaker A: Sin has been abolished. Praise God. Romans 811 says, but. Oh, I love the scripture. It says, but if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwells in you.
Does the same spirit that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead live in you? Well, he lives in me. Praise God. And it says that same spirit shall quicken. Okay, so the word quicken means to make alive, to vitalize.
Okay, so that's spirit is quickening my mortal body, making my mortal body alive. The Holy Spirit cannot share his quarters, his headquarters of God's operation with sickness and disease. So we're going to thank God right now that the eternal life of God is activated in our mortal bodies. No sickness, no disease germ can successfully thrive in our bodies. And listen, as you are praying this, you need to meditate on these two scriptures, okay? So you meditate with your heart, you ruminate with your heart. Then you start to say it with your mouth, you make your confession and you make your declaration.

It doesn't matter, you know, what you're experiencing or what your experiences have been or how bad it is. You know, sometimes you're going to need to take medication to even get into a place where you can pray so that you can, you know, the pain can calm down. But you can tell the pain to go, praise the Lord. But the way to stay in health, once you know spirits of infirmity, sickness, diseases have gone, is to remain in the word. The same way you deal with your finances, you deal with your health, and you deal with it authoritatively.

[00:32:30] Speaker A: You know, Jesus said that these signs shall follow those that in my name they shall cast out devils. So when devils are coming to attach themselves to you with sickness and disease and infections and disease, whatever it is, you know, when they want to attach themselves to you in that way, you have the authority to cast them out, to drive them out. That's what the Lord Jesus Christ said. And we take, you know yet what the word says. We take the things that the word of God sentence seriously.
