[00:00:05] Speaker A: Good evening, family. It is 06:00 and you know what time it is? It is prayer o'clock. So I want to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you joining us from wherever you're joining us from in the world. This is your moment. This is your time, literally. This is your hour to join us. Prayer. You know, our place of prayer has been such a blessing. This is our space of fellowship and communion with the Father, with the spirit, with the word. This is our space where we build ourselves up on our most holy faith. This is our space where we prophesy, we make decrees, we establish things, we align things in our lives into right order with the word of God. We use our authority as believers. We've been given the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and that is the name that we use in prayer. So we're so grateful for this platform and I'm so grateful that you are here with us tonight. Listen, I know Monday was a hard prayer session. We were bringing our families before the Lord and the entire prayer session was dedicated to praying for our families. So I want to find out from you, what was that like? Did you enjoy it? Did you receive any specific word from the spirit? Did you receive any direction from the spirit? We want to know. So make sure that you do send us comments, you do send us emails. We want to know what that prayer session was like for you and where your family is at today. So that was a beautiful prayer session that we had. And I mentioned that in the future we're going to be dedicating a longer period of time, maybe a week, maybe a month, as the spirit leads just to, you know, put our focus and our spiritual energy toward dealing with our families and praying for our families. And I want to encourage you, you know, when you pray for your family and you pray for your family member, maybe you see a particular family member, you feel as if, okay, cool, their condition and their situation might be getting worse. I don't want you to be discouraged. I don't want you to give up in those moments, you know, because a lot of the times when you decide to take spiritual action, the enemy is not necessarily chuffed with you, right? He's not going to bring you a cake. He's not going to shake your hand. He's not going to celebrate you for the progress that you've made. So a lot of the times you can expect a little bit of, you know, retaliation or, you know, things to look a little bit interesting. But rest assured, when you are praying, when you are asking the father, you are engaging the father. You know, God is not a man and he does not lie. When you stand on his word, when you use the word of God as your platform and you don't give in, that word is always going to produce results. You know, the Bible says that the word of God, it cannot, it will not return back to him. Void, right? So don't be discouraged. Don't get into a space where, you know, you see as if, okay, cool. Your family members, they are misbehaving. Their condition is becoming worse. And now you are so disappointed and you're so discouraged, you start to utter words.
You start to speak against that which you've prayed about. You start to say words that are not in line with what you have asked the father for, what you're praying, or what you're saying concerning your family members. So be very, very careful with the words, your words, because you always want to speak what you want to see. Even with your children. Be very careful how you address them. Be very careful the words that you say to your children. You know, the Bible tells us that in the tongue there is the power of life or death. The power of your words, the power of your tongue, there is either life or there is either death. And then it goes further to say that you will eat the fruit thereof.
[00:03:55] Speaker B: Okay?
[00:03:55] Speaker A: So you're either going to eat the fruit of life or you're going to eat the fruit of death. You know, the Bible even goes further to say that by your words, you shall be condemned, or by your words, you will be justified. So a lot of people, they're experiencing condemnation. Their life. There's a judgment. They've condemned themselves. They have judged themselves through the words. They have condemned their children. So a lot of times people are like, okay, cool, my child is veering off the path. But how many times have you told your child, you don't listen. You never listen. I come from a community like that. People say just words. You are like this. You never listen. You are disobedient. They speak a lot of words from the time that you are very, very young. And then when the child's life starts to go in that direction, everybody's like, I don't know what I should do. They now go to look for prayers. But they don't know that through their words, they have programmed the life of their child. They have programmed the life of their family members. They have engineered it. They have orchestrated it through their words.
You know, they condemned through their words. So there's no justification. What does justification mean? It's the declaration of non guilt. That child is not guilty, right? So either you're justified or you condemned through your words. So even during, you know, a period when people are misbehaving or people seem to be, you know, getting worse, their condition seems to be getting worse, always, you know, use the power of the word. Always use the power of God that you have on the inside of you to move yourself toward speaking the right words. Listen, I preach to myself in the same way that I tell you these things. These are things that I consistently have to remind myself about. I have to renew my mind concerning these things. The word of God is a double edged sword. So as the word of God comes to you and it cuts you, even me, as I'm ministering, that same word cuts me. Praise the Lord. That same word pierces me. That same word ministers to me and impacts me as well.

[00:06:05] Speaker A: So just stay tuned to what the word says.org. and of course, we'll let you know about that special time of prayer for our family members. But tonight, you know, we're still in our general prayers. But no, prayer is general.
You know, prayer is always powerful. Prayer is always specific. It doesn't matter which scripture you're using.
[00:06:24] Speaker B: When you're praying or the type of.
[00:06:26] Speaker A: Prayer you're praying, you know, before God, he's always dealing with something in your life. In the place of prayer, you always just need to make sure that you're engaged and that you plug in. And even as you pray, do not allow your mind to wander too much. As we are praying, you can just veer off and think about, you know, okay, cool. I have dinner to cook a little bit later on tonight. Or you can just veer off and think about, you know, a conversation that you had with your husband or your wife. So always make sure that you are plugged in in the place of prayer because the Lord wants to do something miraculous in your life. You know, the place of prayer. I was speaking to somebody. I was doing an interview last week about the secret place. And we're talking about how the secret place is a place of impartation. It is a place of engagement. It is a place of exchange. So when you come into the place of prayer, God wants to do something in your life and in your heart.

[00:07:20] Speaker A: So tonight specifically, we're going to be praying about our purpose.
[00:07:23] Speaker C: Hallelujah.
[00:07:24] Speaker A: Every person has a purpose. Every person has a purpose. Always ensure that you don't pass through this life without fulfilling your purpose. What is your purpose? What is your unique purpose. What is your main assignment? Every person has a purpose, and we want to ensure that we know what our purpose is. That's what we're going to be praying about tonight, that we, you know, it is revealed to us. We understand we are awakened to our purpose, that we are not just passing through life to get money in the nine to five or at the job, that we are actually awakened to our purpose, that we are operating in our purpose, that we are strengthened to execute everything that needs to be done in our purpose to reach the people that God would like us to reach, and that we are operating in our giftings and our callings. You know, when we talk about this, it's not only the fivefold ministry, the members of the fivefold ministry that have a specific calling or they have an office, but every single Christian, every person that is born of God has a purpose. And I want to read one scripture to us tonight before we just get into our prayer session. And it's a very popular scripture, but I'll start with a few verses ahead from that one. And it's Matthew six. I'm going to start with 30. It says, wherefore, if God so clothed the grass of the field which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, o ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the gentiles seek? For your heavenly father knows that you have need of these things. How beautiful. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take, therefore, no thought for tomorrow. For tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Okay, so what I want to highlight is seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything, everything else is going to be added unto you when you seek the kingdom, when you go for the kingdom, when you go for God's righteousness, understanding who you are as a Christian, what it means to be, be a Christian, you know, getting into what it is that God would like you to do with your life, your individual purpose, everything else comes into alignment. There is supply. Everything else is added unto you. So a lot of the times, what the fight is about is to get into your purpose.

[00:10:03] Speaker A: Some people are so privileged because they grew up in a home where their parents literally raised them for their purpose.
Some people grew up in a home where their parents raised them for their purpose.
[00:10:15] Speaker B: You know, they, they had a child.
[00:10:17] Speaker A: And it was, it was given to them, you know, that. This is who you are. This is the purpose. This is the family. This is the legacy. This is what God is going to do through you guys, etcetera, etcetera. And from a very young age, that person is trained up into their purpose. They trained up into their giftings. They trained up into their calling.
[00:10:36] Speaker D: Right?
[00:10:36] Speaker A: But sometimes, you know, everybody's upbringing is not the same. Everybody's parent or parents were not aware of these kinds of things. They didn't understand that, okay, cool. A child needs to be raised up into their purpose. You know, maybe with them, it was just like, okay, cool. Food and shelter, and those are the basics that they could have done because of their own life. Praise God. But your purpose still needs to be fulfilled. You still need to be able to seek the kingdom of God. You still need to be able to get into what God wants you to do specifically with your life. Right. Irrespective if your parents could have opened up a window for you to see what that was about. God now gives you a window. God now gives you the ability to see. Okay, cool. There are these gifts, there are these talents. There are these inherent things that have been placed on the inside of you, and it is there specifically for you to reach your destiny and your purpose.

[00:11:27] Speaker A: So welcome to teachers, how to pray. That is what we're praying about tonight. Of course, we are joining our faith with yours as well. And we're going to start off our prayer point tonight with our prayer of Thanksgiving. One of my favorite scriptures. You always hear it here and teach us how to pray. It's psalm 145, one three. And it says, I will extol thee, my God, o king, and I will bless your name forever and ever. Every day will I bless you. I'll praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised for his greatness is unsearchable. Let's just take some time to honor the lord. Let's just take some time to praise his name.

[00:14:23] Speaker A: So we're going to get into our prayer points tonight, and it is titled fulfilling purpose.
I'm reading to you from two Timothy one nine. And it says, who has saved us and called us with the holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity? And then, Romans 828, it says, and we know that God causes all things, the good, the bad, the nasty, the negative, the positive, all things to work together for good. To those who love God and to those who are called according to his purpose, hallelujah. We are called according to his purpose. So we thank the Lord for giving us a purpose.

[00:15:14] Speaker A: We thank the Lord for giving us a purpose. We thank the Lord that we know what our purpose is and that we don't walk in confusion, and that we have the strength to fulfill our purpose, and we are fulfilling it without reproach. Praise the Lord. It doesn't matter how old you are, if there is something that you believe that God has called you to do, maybe you need to write a song, put out an album, you know, create a fashion line, whatever that is, to the glory of God, whatever God has called you to do, it is never too late to learn to understand. Don't be shocked by fear. Don't be in bondage to what the community is saying or what people are saying, or, you know, to go the conventional way. You see, there's a way that seems right to man, right? But the end there leads to destruction. Not that the conventional way is a destructive way, but sometimes there are things that men are doing, and those things look successful because everybody is going in that direction to do that thing. And sometimes there's that temptation. I know I've been a part of it, to want to go with the crowd because you want to do the things that the crowd is doing because it's successful, you know, and these can even be christians, christian crowds, doing things. But then there's that thing, that very unique thing that the Lord has maybe asked you to do something different, something very, very unique, and you feel like, oh, you know, there's that. That fear. Okay, what are the people going to think about me? Those are the things in the place of prayer.
[00:29:26] Speaker B: It must be destroyed.
[00:29:28] Speaker A: It must be broken. You know the condition of your heart.
[00:29:31] Speaker B: In the secret place.
[00:29:32] Speaker A: God changes you.
[00:29:34] Speaker C: Hallelujah.
[00:29:34] Speaker A: He removes those things. He takes away those things, and you receive that boldness. The more you pray, the more you meditate on God's word to do the things that he's leading you in the direction to do.
Praise the Lord. So I know that you have the ability and the strength. So now we're going to move on to our next prayer point, and we can never get enough of this. It's a prayer of the spirit. We're praying regarding increase in wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him concerning our purpose. We thank the father of glory that he grants us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. We are equipped for our purpose. What you need for your purpose is increase in wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.

[00:30:18] Speaker A: You need the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him to operate in your purpose effectively. How are you going to do your purpose without knowing the Lord Jesus Christ?
Praise the Lord. You can't know him based on somebody else's revelation. You need to know him based on your personal revelation. So we pray tonight that God gives you this revelation, Hallelujah. That he increases you in wisdom, Sophia. In wisdom.

[00:30:45] Speaker A: You see, the word of God speaks about all those people that were spoken about, about, you know, to be people of wisdom. The likes of your David, the likes of your Daniel, your shadrach, your meshach, Abednego. Excellence. Wisdom your Josephs. Praise the Lord. These were men of wisdom, men of excellence, and they went through a lot of trials because of their purpose. But God gave them that wisdom. God gave them that excellence. And this is what we're praying concerning ourselves. You know, you can be so wise. You can be wise beyond your years, you can be wise without a worldly wisdom. And I even encourage you to go to the what the word says podcast. You know, there's some gems on, you know, some of these things. Wisdom, a spiritual understanding. Wisdom, Sophia, there are things that you know you can understand. There are even words of wisdom and words of knowledge by the spirit of God.

[00:31:47] Speaker A: Imagine, this is what it means to seek the kingdom. This is what it means when everyone else is running around, you know, they're doing things, running around, going after earthly things. Listen, those things are not bad. But the word of God says, when you seek his kingdom, when you start to understand the operations of the kingdom of God, those things, they get added to you.
They just get added to you. Because once you know the principles of the kingdom, the way the kingdom operates, praise the Lord. It's just a new level.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints are.

But sometimes if you're not wise or you're a bit young or you don't understand how those things work, you could get into the wrong relationship with people, and then that relationship is destroyed. And God has to line up more people to help you get into your destiny. So always be careful. Honor your destiny helpers, honor the people that help you. Honor those that are bringing you into a new dimension, because you recognize that you have never been in that dimension before. And the Lord uses men to bring you up to that level. So a lot of the times, what can happen is, you know, God opens a door. A large door of opportunity is open to you, you know, an opportunity for you to step into your destiny and into your purpose. And then what happens? A lot of the time, some people, they square their shoulders with the people that are. The Lord has placed on their way to help them enter into their destiny. So always thank God that you have the eyes to see and recognize who certain people are in your life, that you have. You're operating in the wisdom of God so that you always honor these people and you treat them with, with the due respect, because the Lord has placed them on your way strategically. And sometimes when you, you annoy someone like that, you know, God has to take more, more people. He has to raise more people up to help you. And who knows? You know, if people are not raised up for many years to help you at a specific, pivotal moment in your life, and then how long will it take to raise more people up to help you again?

[00:59:25] Speaker A: So you need to think about this. The Lord uses people. Let's end off the session with some affirmations you can repeat after me. I have all it takes to fulfill my assignment.
Fear has no place in me, for the father has not given unto me a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind.

Remember what I told you earlier on at the beginning of the session? I said, by your words you'll be condemned, and by your words you'll be justified. This is one of those moments where your words will allow you to enter into the kingdom of God. Romans ten nine says that if you'll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe with your heart.
Believe what? Believe that God humbled himself to become a man, and he came to this earth in the form of a man called Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And he was born of a virgin, miraculous birth. He lived everywhere he went. He demonstrated the power of God. He demonstrated the nature of God, the kingdom of God. He did wonders. The most famous man in all of history, he was called Jesus Christ. But after he died, after he was buried and was raised to life, for the sin of the whole world, sin of the whole world was placed upon Jesus when he was raised to life. When he came out of the grave and he defeated the enemy in hell, he got given a name that is above every other name. He got given the title of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's who he is today. That's why the word of God says that you must confess his lordship, not your sin. Confess his lordship and believe in your heart. Believe with your heart that he is God. And this is what happened. These are the miraculous events that took place concerning his life. If that is you, tonight I want to lead you in this prayer. And I want you to believe with all of your heart. You say, dear Father, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Your word says, whosoever shall call upon your name shall be saved.
I ask Jesus to come into my heart and to be the Lord of my life. From today I am born again. And I believe Jesus Christ died. He was born buried, and he was raised to life.
