[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good evening, family, and welcome to your favorite prayer platform. This is teach us how to pray, brought to you by what the word says. And this is our space where we build ourselves up on our most holy faith, where we edify ourselves, we build up our spirits. This is the space where we receive answers in prayer and we get to fellowship with the Father, with the spirit and the word of God. Now you might be saying, but guys, when teachers how to pray, we pray about specific prayer points. How are we then fellowshipping? Well, remember, God and his word are one. You cannot separate them. So whenever you get an opportunity to fellowship with the word of God, when you get an opportunity to pray in the spirit, you are fellowshipping with the Father, you're fellowshiping with the Lord because God and his word are one. Hallelujah. So, I mean, the month of August, we've been looking specifically at the condition of our hearts. And I know I've been impacted greatly. You know, I've been receiving a lot of clarity, a lot of revelation in my spirit. A lot of things have been coming to mind as I've been growing during this month, as we've been addressing, you know, our garden, our heart, our space, which the word of God admonishes us to guard. Guard your heart with all diligence, because out of it are the issues of life. So I know that a lot of you have been set free. A lot of you are coming into your liberty. A lot of you. It's like the light is going on on the inside of you and you're like, oh, okay, cool. I see what happened here. A lot of you have forgiven people, forgiven situations, forgiven yourself. And things are freeing up on the inside of you. All of a sudden you see that, wow, there's this freedom on the inside of me. All of a sudden you see that, okay. The person that I was once very resentful towards or very bitter toward, all of a sudden, God has given me capacity, capacity to have empathy for the person and their situation. That is where the place of forgiveness comes in. That is a place where the love of God starts to grow on the inside of you, where you start to look at somebody else and instead of being like, ah, oh my gosh, what a cow. How wicked you are looking at that person through the eyes of love, and you're starting to understand, okay, wow, I really feel sorry for this person because whatever they're going through that is making them act in the way, it must be something that is seriously big, it must be seriously deep. God, touch their hearts. God, heal them. A lot of the time when you pray for people that have offended you, you see that God answers your prayers and he comes through for you, because that is what we are supposed to be doing, showing love to our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ. And one of the greatest ways to show somebody love is in the place of prayer. They might never know that you have shown them love in that way, but the only person that matters and the only person that needs to know is the Lord, right? So he sees, okay, this person has been praying for their enemy. This person has been praying for those who have offended them. This person is now promoted in the realm of the spirit. Praise the Lord. So it's a brand new week and it's our final week of August. So what we're going to be doing during these sessions are we're going to be praying for one more condition of the heart, okay? And that is offense toward God. Okay. And then we're going to be dealing with a lot of planting the word of God, right. So we've discussed on this platform before that once we uproot some of these bad conditions of the heart that have now taken root on the inside of us. Once we eject them, once we cast out the devils, once we send all those bad things away, once we are cleansed, once we are sanctified, the next point of call is to plant the seed of the word in the ground of our heart. And we consistently water that seed through praying with the spirit. Praying in the spirit.

[00:04:04] Speaker A: We're praying consistently in other tongues. We're meditating on the word. We're meditating on the scriptures. And listen, brothers and sisters, these feelings of that we've been dealing with anxiety, fear, depression, the different types of emotions that come with pain and hurt and trauma, they will come back to knock on the door and say, coco, are you really healed? In the same way that symptoms can come back to your physical body, these ones will come back. And it is in those moments that you need the meditation that you have been doing to work for you. So I want to encourage you to not, you know, even though we will move on to other prayers in the next month or we'll move on to another theme or general prayers, whatever it might be. Always, always guard your heart with all diligence. Don't take it for granted that you've been on a healing journey.
The blood of Jesus is always available, right? The blood of Jesus is always there. You can call on it. You can use it consistently. Listen, if you feel like you need to go back to the prayers, like from the very first one that we did. Please do.
Go right to the beginning. Do them consistently. If you feel like you've got more things to sort out, maybe the time was not enough. Maybe you've got more writing or journaling to do, please do so. But you know who? The sun sets free. He is free indeed.
Okay. A lot of these conditions of the heart, they've already left you. Now it's just about meditating on the word. It's just about moving forward with the word. However, if you still need to do some more cleansing and some, you know, you need to focus on those things. You feel like there are more things on the inside. By all means, as the spirit of God leads you deal with them. Go back to the prayers, go back to the scriptures. You can work on it. But from this moment onward, we're going to deal with our final issue of the heart, and then we're going to be working on the meditations. Right? The word of God in our heart, the word of God in our mouth. And whenever those temptations come, you know, those moments come that want to say hi. This one, they are still here. You are still stuck. That voice. You haven't forgiven because those feelings might come because of the memory of the pain. Maybe you might shed it here.
Doesn't mean that you have not forgiven. Doesn't mean that you've not worked on your heart. You just continue to affirm the word of God. The love of God is shed abroad in my heart through Christ Jesus.
I don't hold grudges. All bitterness and resentment has left me. You are gone. You won't control my life. And that is how you deal with the symptoms and the knockoff effects, etc.

[00:06:41] Speaker A: Praise the Lord. So we're going to be dealing with the issue of offense against God. And I know a lot of you are probably like all the religious christians are like, offended against God. How dare you? Listen, it is possible, you know, a lot of times you find that people have questions, you know, God, why me? Why did I go through the divorce? Why did I, you know, experience grief? Why did this person have to leave me? Why was I the one that was cheated on, etcetera, whatever the case might be. We have these questions for God, and it's really good. It's not bad. I mean, if you speak to anyone, you'd want to speak to your father. You'd want to speak to papa. God, right? Because he's the one that we're supposed to be intimate with and open our heart towards.
However, if there's no resolution or there's no resolve from the word of God concerning these questions, unfortunately, it festers for too long and it becomes a playground for the enemy to sow those seeds of doubt and to sow those seeds like, okay, yes, God is the enemy. A lot of people have left the faith because of challenges, because of trials, because of disappointments. They've lived their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. They've walked away. A lot of people have walked away from the church because of the disappointment and offense against God. But we know that the Bible tells us that we have an enemy that he came to kill, to steal and to destroy. So we know that the enemy of man is the devil, right? So we can move from that place where we blame God. And a lot of people have said, okay, but if God is omnipotent, he's all powerful, why do so many people suffer? And it's the same reason that I've just explained to you now, that there's an enemy who came to kill, to steal and to destroy. And God has given the authority to man in the place of prayer to make changes in the earth. You need to go back to teach us how to pray. From the first month, July, when we spoke about, okay, God giving us this gift of prayer and what we can do with prayer, the authority that we have in the name of Jesus, the authority that we have in prayer, and how we actually get to invite God into the circumstances of man, how we get to invite God and allow him to intervene in the circumstances of man. He's not going to intervene, you know, at free will. It's not going to intervene because you didn't pray, you didn't make requests, you didn't petition, you didn't make declarations, right? So sometimes we are praying amiss, sometimes we are blaming the wrong person, and in turn, we walk away from our faith because we do not understand the principles and the rules of engagement concerning our salvation and even the place of prayer. God is not to blame for, you know, the destruction, the evil that we see in the world today, the evil that we see in our families today.
He's not responsible. Praise the Lord. So if we get born again and, you know, we commit ourselves wholly to the Lord and we go and understand, what does it mean to be born again? What are the rules of engagement? What are the principles of salvation? How do I live this new creation life? I've now come into the kingdom of God. What do I need to do? What do I need to be aware of how do I protect myself? Because when you get born again, it's not like the devil is giving you a round of applause or pat on your back to say, well done. I'm going to leave you alone now. No, if anything, that's when he comes and he comes for you in a very hard way.
Praise the Lord. So at the end of it, out, at the end of the day, blaming God is like not having all the information and just saying, okay, but you're the problem, you understand? So today we're going to be praying about offense against God and we're just going to, you know, receive forgiveness for that and cleanse our heart. And you're going to get an opportunity to be honest with the Lord and say, why did this happen to me? Why was I this person? Okay, God, I'm sorry for holding this against you. Because offense against God is holding something, you know, just by merely having the question why me? And letting it take root. It grows very deep into your heart and without you knowing, it becomes an offense against Goddesse offended at God. Whether you understand it mentally but in your subconscious, your subconscious mind, it counts as an offense against God. It counts as a bitterness against God. And tonight we want to be free from that. Hallelujah. So let's jump into our first prayer point. And this is our prayer of worship and thanksgiving. So we're going to spend time to acknowledge the Lord and we're going to honor him. Let's thank him for all the healing that we've received in our souls this far in the month of August we're reading from psalms 103, one four and it says, praise the Lord, my soul, all my inmost being. Praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, o my soul, and forget not all of his benefits. Who forgives all your sins, who heals all of your diseases. Hallelujah. He's forgiven us of all of our sin. He's allowed us to forgive others in this month who redeems our life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion. Oh hallelujah. Let's glorify the Lord. Mikasente Father, we worship you. And our eyes are permanently open to always know the adversary. And in the same way we receive healing. We receive healing where that pain has taken place. Where that trauma, where that tragedy has taken place. And we thank God that we are healed from that trauma. We are cleansed from that trauma. And we always know who the adversary is. We repent of blaming God. We receive our forgiveness. And we are in right standing with the Lord. Hallelujah. Hebrews 416 saying, let us therefore come boldly unto the throne room of grace. To the throne of grace. Where we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in a time of need.

And then you need to make a confession that he is Lord, not only the Lord of your life, but he is Lord. He is king, the prince of the kings of the earth.
If you can believe that, and if you can make that confession, you shall be saved. So I'm going to lead you in a prayer tonight so that you can get born again. So you can just repeat after me, but believe it with all of your heart. Say, dear Father, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
